Pacific Islands - Aitutaki Magic

Aitutaki honeymoon packages in magic surroundings

Cook Islands Map with Rarotonga

Less than an hour’s flight from Rarotonga by local airline Air Raro ( an efficient interisland service) lies the alluring atoll of Aitutaki. Nicknamed "Honeymoon Island", it is the archetypal tropical island. Even the most jaded traveller would be enthralled by this Eden with its vast crystal clear lagoon and tiny motus of finest white sand, where sea birds and land lovers seek sanctuary.

Aitutaki has one of the most spectacular lagoons on the planet! Snorkeling is a huge attraction, as is the variety of marine life found in the outer canyons of the Aituaki Barrier Reef.
A day spent visiting the pure white motus scattered around the lagoon, is one of life’s great memories.

The village of Vaipae, nicknamed "Hollywood", comes by it honestly. The high spirited, toe tapping, hip swinging performances of the drummers and the dancers are compelling and to watch. Fire dancers cause many a heart-stopping moment with a technique that takes years to perfect.
