Day 1 - Arrive in Auckland and private hotel transfer
Meet your driver at Auckland Airport for transfer to your hotel. Unwind by exploring the America's Cup village and view the city from the Sky Tower. Take a boat trip to beautiful Waiheke Island or pictuesque Devonport Village. Visit the shops and cafes of Parnell Village. If arriving early in the day, try to stay awake as long as possible to beat jet-lag.

Day 2 - Travel via Waitomo Caves to Rotorua
Drive via the Waikato region to the famous Waitomo caves (225 km, 140 miles, 3 hours). See the architectural beauty of the stalactites and the galaxy of glow worms. Go black water-rafting through the caves on a rubber tube. For a bigger challenge, abseil or zip-line through the darkness! The Ruakuri Cave experience does not require a wetsuit. Let us know if you want to include the more adventurous ‘Black Water Rafting’ or abseiling (wetsuit required). If you opt for the abseiling tours (4-7 hours), stay in the Waitomo region. Otherwise, continue on to Roturua (140 km, 87 miles, 2 hours). 

Day 3 - Explore Rotorua and Lake Taupo
Rotorua is wonderland of bubbling mud pools and natural hot springs. Explore the distinctive landscape and volcanic activity of a geothermal park, take a relaxing soak in a natural hot stream and be pampered in a luxurious spa. Rotorua offers a spiritual journey into Maori culture with village performances. For outdoor adventures, go Trout fishing, kayaking, hiking and mountain biking. For extra adrenaline, go sky-diving, jet boating and zorbing.

Day 12 - Flights to Auckland and Nadi/ Fiji
Take a domestic flight from Nelson to Auckland and in the afternoon, connect with a flight to Nadi. Depending on your arrival time you may need to stay overnight in Nadi before your transfer to one of the sparsely populated offshore islands. Relax in tropical Fiji, a paradise of blue lagoons and palm-lined beaches. Eco-activities include mountain climbing, surfing and soft-coral diving.

Day 13-15 - Stay on Fiji offshore island resort
Transfer by coach to the Denarau harbour for a boat ride to one of the many island resorts. Alternatively, a helicopter transfer can be arranged. There is a fantastic selection of off-shore island resorts, including Malolo, Matamoana, Yasawa, Tokoiriki and Vomo island resort. Stay on one of the off-shore islands and experience the Fiji of your dreams - stunning beaches, fantastic snorkelling and premium facilities.

Day 16 - Flight Fiji to Auckland
Transfer back to the mainland via Denarau harbour and then travel by coach to the airport. Fly out of Nadi in the afternoon or evening, to Auckland and connect with any flight connection from there.

Day 10 - Travel from Punakaiki to Nelson/ Abel Tasman NP
Travel to the beautiful Nelson-Tasman region via the Buller Gorge (275 km, 170 miles, 4 hours). Go caving at Fox River and underground rafting at Charleston. Visit Cape Foulwind for the seal colony coastal walkway. Stop in Westport for coffee and home-cooked food. The Mighty Buller Gorge is a superb scenic drive and carves out a 169 kilometre path through gorges and dense forest to the sea. Arrive in the Nelson/Tasman region in the late afternoon.

Day 11 - Kayaking the Abel Tasman National Park
When it comes to native bush and sea views, the Abel Tasman Coast Track is unsurpassed. Discover the Abel Tasman National Park coastal walks via water taxi.. Another popular option is to join a guided sea kayaking tour as a half or full day option. If you haven’t done sea kayaking before, take the half-day trip and walk or water taxi back. You’ll have a great time!

Day 8 - Travel to Fox Glacier
Drive into the lush rainforests and beaches towards Fox Glacier in the beautiful wild West Coast. (Queenstown to Fox: 327 km, 202 miles, 5.5 hours). From Haast to Jackson Bay there are empty shingle beaches, lakes and wetlands. For an authentic insight to this area, join the Waiatoto River Jet Boating Safari. A helicopter flight over the Franz Josef or Fox Glacier is a must-do, especially if you land on the snow. Do the 1-hour Lake Matheson loop walk or the glacier face walk in Fox Glacier valley.

Day 9 - Travel the West Coast to Punakaiki
The West Coast region is sparsely populated. (Fox to Greymouth/Punakaiki area: 200-250 km, 124-155 miles, 3-4 hours). Be enthralled by the beauty of the native forests, beaches and lagoons. Don’t miss the famous Pancake Rocks and Blowholes at Punakaiki. This area is an untouched paradise of beautiful tracks and swing-bridges from where crystal clear waters can be enjoyed. The beaches are wild and beautiful and often empty of people - perfect for a romantic stroll.

Day 6 - Travel from Te Anau to Wanaka or Queenstown
The drive to Queenstown only takes 2.5 hours and to Wanaka, 3.5 hours. Wanaka has a relaxed and beautiful village atmosphere and is only one hour's drive away from Queenstown. For a more relaxed and local ‘vibe, stay in Wanaka to explore from there. If you crave the nightlife, world-class tourism facilities and action tours, stay in Queenstown. Either way, the Wanaka-Queenstown region (with Cromwell and Cardrona in between) offers an endless supply of adventure. Stay 3 nights.

Day 7 - Explore the Queenstown / Wanaka region
Wanaka is a winter and summer holiday destination, with activities for all seasons, including skiing, fishing, hiking, wine tasting, scenic flights, skydiving and 750 kms of cycle trails Visit nearby Queenstown, Cromwell and Alexandra. Queenstown is located on the shore of the crystal clear Lake Wakatipu among dramatic alpine ranges and is home to the ultimate adventure. Bungy jumping, sky diving, jet boating, horse trekking and river rafting, can be enjoyed all year round.

Days 4 - Flight to Invercargill. Scenic drive to Te Anau
Leave your rental car at Rotorua Airport and take a domestic flight to Invercargill (via Wellington or Christchurch). Collect another rental car outside the Invercargill Airport terminal. Travel the ‘Southern Scenic Route’ to Te Anau, New Zealand's hiking capital. This 200km (124 miles) drive via Tuatapere takes approx 2.5 hours and will introduce you to parts of the Te Wahipounamu World Heritage Area. Arrive in the afternoon and do the ‘LOTR walk’ along the Waiau River (on the Kepler Track). Start from the ‘Rainbow Reach’ swing bridge between Te Anau and Manapouri. The Fiordland region features 1.3 million hectares of untouched national heritage park and is home to exotic wildlife. The waterfalls, enormous fiords and ancient rainforests are magnificent. Stay a minimum of 2 nights.

Days 5 - Explore Fiordland and Milford Sound
Milford Sound is spectacular and carved by successive glaciers during the ice ages (125 km, 78 miles, 2.5 hours one-way). Fiord cliffs rise vertically and when it rains, waterfalls become giant water canons. To avoid the 5-hour drive from Te Anau to Milford, join a local tour into Milford Sound, beginning from Te Anau and continuing along the Milford Road. With a maximum of 11 passengers, this is a quality experience. Once in Milford Sound and included in the tour, is a Boat Cruise to the Tasman Sea. After the boat cruise, the overland part of the tour begins. Take a series of short walks with your nature guide, or a 2.5 hour walk on the Routeburn Track to Key Summit. Return to Te Anau around 5.30pm.
