Day 1 - Arrive in Sydney and a private hotel transfer
Meet your transfer driver at Sydney Airport's arrival gate and stay three nights in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Enjoy stunning harbour views and golden beaches.

Day 2 - Sydney City Highlights tour in a small tour group
Take a relaxing half-day city tour with a local guide. See Sydney's colourful Botanical Gardens and historical buildings. Stroll along the harbour to view the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House. Stop for lunch at Australia’s premier yacht club then walk along famous Bondi Beach.

Day 3 - Blue Mountains day tour (with optional hiking)
Head west to the Blue Mountains, an area famous for dramatic scenery and bush walking trails. Begin with a drive pass the historical Rocks precinct and convict cottages. See Australia’s first church and other remnants of the past. Visit the Featherdale Wildlife Park and meet Australia’s Kangaroos and Koalas. Stop at the Blue Mountains National Park before continuing on to Kings Tableland to absorb the magnificent views over Grose Valley. After lunch at the charming village of Leura, take a two-hour hike to the famous Three Sisters Rock Formation.

Day 10 - Travel from Mt. Gambier to Port Fairy
Mt Gambier to Port Fairy (271 km — allow 3.5 hours driving). Take a side trip to the boutique Coonawarra wine region.These wineries are conveniently located within short travelling distances to each other and include flagship wineries such as Wynns and Yalumba. After passing the state border between South Australia and Victoria near the village of Nelson, adjust your watch 30 minutes forward. Arrive at the lovely riverside town of Port Fairy.

Day 11 - Travel from Port Fairy to Apollo Bay
Port Fairy to Apollo Bay (188 km — allow 3 hours). Stop at lookouts over the cliffs of the Loch Ard Gorge and the dazzling Bay of Islands. Take an exhilarating helicopter ride for views of the coastline. See the spectacular coastline leading to Port Campbell. Descend all 86 of the Gibson Steps to the beach for a ground-level view of the famous 12 Apostles. Follow the Great Ocean Road into the lush rain forest of the Otway National Park and turn off at the Otway Fly Treetop Walk, an easy hour's drive. Increase your adrenaline levels with a zip-line tour. Stay overnight in Apollo Bay.

Day 10 + 11 - Travel the Great Ocean Road

Day 12 - Travel from Apollo Bay to Melbourne
Apollo Bay to Melbourne (188 km — allow 3 hours). Drive 30 min along the coastal road to Kennett River. Follow the 'koala walk' with your camera at the ready. Magnificent coastal views dominate the next 30 kilometres to beach town Lorne. Stop at nearby Anglesea and take a detour to the golf course to see kangaroos lounging on the greens. Continue 1-hour from Torquay to Melbourne. Torquay is home to some of Australia's best-known surf beaches and marks the official beginning of the Great Ocean Road. Immerse yourself in surf culture at Surfworld, visit Bell's Beach. A arrive in Melbourne.

Day 13 - Discover Melbourne
Melbourne is the fashion capital of Australia and is known for it’s sophisticated style and shopping. Explore with local transport (e.g. tram, channel cruise) or with guided tours (see suggestions below). Get a close encounter with Australian wildlife in their natural habitat - see the Penguin Parade, join a Wild Ocean Eco-Boat Tour, visit the Koala Conservation Centre, Churchill Island Heritage Farm and the Nobbies Centre. Nature Parks provide numerous coastal and bush land walks across Phillip Island. Taste your way around Melbourne's top ‘foodie’ destinations and sample fine wines. Shop at the Queen Victoria Market or go on a cafe crawl through Melbourne's side lanes.

Day 14 - Depart ex Melbourne
Fly out of Melbourne to any other destination in Australia or New Zealand. You can easily combine existing sample travel itineraries on offer. Or we can design a totally new travel package for you to include New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

Day 7 - Flight from Cairns to Adelaide
Meet your driver at the hotel/lodge for tranfer to Cairns Airport. Fly to Adelaide, Southern Australia, a cosmopolitan city renowned for it’s museums, art galleries and the beautiful Barossa wine area. The Barossa lifestyle combines European heritage with Australia's fresh vitality. Visit old churches, wineries and historic cottages and discover the many hidden treasures in this rural area. 

Day 8 - Kangaroo Island day tour ex Adelaide
Take a day tour of South Australia’s premier nature-based destination, Kangaroo Island. Pick-up at your hotel at 6.45am for transfer to the Cape Jervis ferry terminal. Take a 45 minute ferry trip to Penneshaw to visit the Seal Bay Conservation Park. Take a beach walk to see Australian Sea-lions. Stop for lunch at the Vivonne Bay Bistro then visit the Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary to meet koalas. Spend the afternoon at Flinders Chase National Park. Fly back to Adelaide via Rex Air.

Day 9 - Travel with rental car from Adelaide to Mt. Gambier
Adelaide to Mt. Gambier (Inland road 418 km or Coastal road 413 km — allow 5 hours ).Travel southeast from Adelaide via the Murray River along the coastal scenic route via Kingston and the pretty fishing village of Robe. Take a side trip to Cape Jaffa and the Coorong National Park then continue through to the famous sinkholes on the Limestone Coast. Diving can be done in some of these sinkholes, but some caves contain noxious fumes. Hiring a guide is recommended. See the highlights of Mt. Gambier, including the Blue Lake located in the crater of a volcanic crater.

Day 4 - Flight Sydney to Cairns - transfer to Port Douglas
Return to Sydney Airport and fly direct to Cairns (3 hours and 15 mins). Transfer to the Port Douglas area (1 hour drive away). Your accommodation is located in the tropical holiday town of Port Douglas. Note: the 5-star option, Silky Oaks Lodge, is in Mossman, 20 min drive from Port Douglas.

Day 5 - Sailing and Snorkel the Great Barrier Reef
The Great Barrier Reef is a kaleidoscope of colourful marine life. Sail away in the sleek Aquarius Catamaran, a dedicated snorkel-only vessel with personalized service. Enjoy an exhilarating ride to the Low Isles, a tropical island on the Great Barrier Reef. Swim and snorkel in the playground of green turtles and parrot fish. Re-board the Aquarius for a tropical seafood gourmet lunch. Join an informative tour around the island to learn about its history and environment. The leisurely return journey includes afternoon refreshments.

Day 6 - Daintree Forest Day tour in a small tour group
Travel to the World Heritage listed forest region of the Daintree National Park. Step aboard a personalized craft for a cruise on the mirrored waters of the Daintree River. Listen to an interesting commentary by a knowledgeable guide. Cruise close to riverbanks and under the overhead canopy of the rain-forest. Seek out the vivid Ulysses Butterfly, Kingfishers and other wildlife. Get your camera ready for those magnificent crocodiles!
