Day 1 - Arrive in Sydney and a private hotel transfer
On arrival at Sydney Airport, meet your private driver for your hotel transfer. Stay three nights in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Enjoy the stunning harbour views, golden beaches, exciting shopping, dining and a vibrant nightlife.

Day 2 - Sydney City Ultimate Highlights tour
Experience the beauty of Sydney with a local guide. Be driven around the historic Rocks precinct to visit historic churches, the Observatory and former convict built cottages. Continue around Circular Quay, the Opera House and into the magnificent Botanical Gardens. Take a short walk to Mrs Macquarie’s chair for views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.

Day 3 - Blue Mountains day tour (with optional hiking)
The Blue Mountains are famous for their dramatic scenery and bush walking trails. After departing the city, visit the historical Rocks precinct. Stop at Featherdale Wildlife Park to meet Kangaroos, Koalas, Wallabies and Wombats. Continue west to the Blue Mountains National Park for a refreshment stop then travel onwards to Kings Tableland for sublime views over Grose Valley. After lunch at the charming village of Leura, take a two-hour hike to the famous Three Sisters Rock Formation.

Day 1 and 2 - Sydney

The Australian sun is very strong. Always wear a shirt, hat, sunglasses and SPF 30+ sunscreen lotion, even on cloudy days. If spending the whole day outdoors, reapply sunscreen regularly.  Stay out of the sun during the middle of the day when the sun is strongest. Make sure you drink plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration.

Day 10 - Barossa Valley Wines day tour
Adelaide is a cosmopolitan city of museums, art galleries and wine. This part of South Australia is unique for its combination of rich European heritage and the fresh vitality of Australia embodied in the Barossa lifestyle. There are many hidden rural treasures to be discovered, including some of Australia's oldest churches, wineries and historic cottages.

Day 11 - Kangaroo Island via McLaren Valley
McLaren Vale is a historic region consistently producing fine food and premium wines. Located within the Fleurieu Zone, this area runs along the Gulf of St Vincent starting just below Adelaide and ending below Aldinga Beach. In the afternoon arrive at the Cape Jervis ferry terminal at 3pm and take the 4pm ferry to Penneshaw, the ferry terminal for Kangaroo Island.

Day 12 - Kangaroo Island day tour

Day 13 - Another day on Kangaroo Island
Kangaroo Island is just off the mainland of South Australia and known for its diverse wildlife and nature reserves, including Flinders Chase National Park, home to kangaroos, wallabies, koalas and many bird species. Lodge guides will introduce you to sea lions at Seal Bay. Explore the vast wilderness of Flinders Chase National Park and be guided through coastal flora along limestone clifftops. Excellent private charters are also available. Discover epicurean delights, visit local artists, or step off the beaten track to encounter wildlife in Australia’s own 'Galapagos'.

Day 14 - Flight to Adelaide
Transfer to Kingscote airport and take a 35 minute flight back to Adelaide where you can either connect with your international flights or continue on a tailor-made travel extension along the Great Ocean Road or any other part of Australia.

Day 12 + 13 - Southern Ocean Lodge


Day 12 - Kangaroo Island nature tour

Day 7 - Flight from Cairns to Ayers Rock/ Uluru
A private driver will collect you from your hotel/lodge for transfer back to Cairns airport. Take a domestic flight to Ayers Rock (either direct or via Alice Springs) to see the real outback of Australia. The skyscrapers are made of rock and one of the best shows in town is the spectacular million-star night-time display. This arid environment is also home to a large population of unique animals, birds and reptiles. Wallabies, dingoes, emus, tiny geckos and huge eagles are long-established locals.

Day 8 - Guided Outback Tour
Explore the great Australian Outback. Guests staying at at Longitude 131° will take a private guided 4-wheel drive tour to visit the spirit heart of Australia. Guests staying at other accommodations will join a small group outback tour.

Day 9 - The Ghan train or domestic flight to Adelaide
The Ghan is a living legend in Australian history and the ultimate journey through the heart of the continent.  This unique train journey runs from Alice Springs to Adelaide on Thursdays and Sundays. If you want to do this train journey, it will need to be worked into your itinerary for those days. After boarding The Ghan at Alice Springs, spend a night on-board to see the spectacular Australian landscapes. If you don’t wish to travel by train or your travel schedule doesn't include this trip, take a domestic flight to Adelaide and spend the night in a hotel at Adelaide.

Day 7 + 8 - Longitude Luxury Tents, Uluru

Day 4 - Flight Sydney to Cairns - transfer to Port Douglas
Transfer back to Sydney Airport and take a direct domestic flight to Cairns (3 hours and 15 mins) for transer to the Port Douglas area (1 hour drive away). Your accommodation is located in the tropical holiday town of Port Douglas. Note: the 5-star option, Silky Oaks Lodge, is located in Mossman, 20 minutes drive from Port Douglas.

Day 5 - Sailing and Snorkel the Great Barrier Reef
The Great Barrier Reef is a kaleidoscope of marine life. Sail off in the luxurious Aquarius Catamaran, a dedicated snorkel-only vessel with a personalized level of service. Take an exhilarating ride to a stunning tropical island on the Great Barrier Reef. Swim and snorkel in the playground of green turtles, parrot fish and fusiliers. Explore the tranquil waters of the Low Isles lagoon then enjoy a tropical fruit and seafood lunch back on-board the Aquarius. Take a relaxed stroll around the island to learn its history. The return journey includes afternoon refreshments.

Day 6 - Daintree Forest Day tour in a small tour group
Travel through rich farming areas towards the World Heritage listed forest region of the Daintree National Park. Step aboard a personalized craft for a cruise on the mirrored waters of the Daintree River. Cruise close to riverbanks,under the overhead canopy of the rainforest. Seek out the vivid Ulysses Butterfly, Kingfishers and other wildlife. As you glide through silent backwaters, have your camera ready for those magnificent crocodiles basking on muddy banks.
