The luxurious, self-contained, country cottage is warm, light and airy with handcrafted wooden detailing and beautiful interior decor. The idyllic, private garden setting is an easy 30 minute drive from the Waitomo Glow Worm Caves, Black Water Rafting and abseiling adventures and just 15 minutes from the small town of Otorohanga with excellent shopping facilities. Located on a second generation sheep and beef farm it offers a special and hospitable experience with stunning panoramic views over lush farmland and extinct volcanoes.

Tastefully designed and decorated the charming handcrafted cottage is an ideal place to “get away from it all”. The upstairs "loft" has a queen bed with pure cotton linens, quality furnishings and magnificent views. Downstairs there’s a fully-equipped kitchenette, spacious modern bathroom with robes, slippers, hair driers and complimentary toiletries, dining nook and comfortable lounge with sound system, CD collection, plentiful reading material, fresh flowers, complimentary home baking, port, coffee and tea assortments. A sofa-sleeper converts to an extra double bed for two additional guests. (Children are very welcome)

Your stay includes a gourmet breakfast, which can be served in our home, just a short walk away, or brought to you in the cottage, if you prefer. Delicious home-cooked meals, with an emphasis on fresh produce and creative choices to suit all tastes, are also offered by prior arrangement. If you prefer total independence the cottage kitchenette is fully equipped for self-catering.
