With 15,000 visitors from overseas expected to arrive in New Zealand for the 2005 British Lions Rugby Tour in June and July next year there is already a shortage of accommodation, particularly in Wellington, Christchurch and Auckland where the 3 test games are to be held. We have had several enquiries for itineraries for this event and are in the process of adding some suggested self drive itineraries to our website. GINZ can arrange accommodation, transport, internal flights, accommodation and other arrangements for whichever part of the tour you want to follow but it would pay to get in quick to ensure you get to the games you want to see. For more information and the schedule of games see Lions Tour New Zealand For tickets to the games, contact Gulliver Sports/ UK, Mike Burton / UK, Titan Groups / UK or Ebrookers / UK. Let us know if you
want to be contacted
by email with our suggested itinerary options or quotes for campervans,
rental cars and accommodation. New Zealand Specials |

Voted by the Economist Intelligence Unit as one of the top 10 places in the world to live in 2002; declared by New Yorker magazine as "possibly the last well planned and contented metropolis on earth"; and acclaimed by Lonely Planet as "civilised and calm in a way that no other Australian state capital can match", Adelaide in South Australia is a city well worth including in your Australia itinerary. Adelaide is a city surrounded by parklands, sports fields, a top-class golf course, walking and cycling tracks and beautiful gardens. There’s a sense of space. Suburban parks, street tree canopies and private gardens make this an urban place that’s surprisingly close to nature. With rolling hills, pristine beaches, a lively nightlife, galleries, cafes, pubs, bookshops, fashion houses, antique stores, cellar doors and National Parks (all within Adelaide's boundaries!), it is relaxing and stylish city to visit. With a population of just over 1 million, Adelaide sits on the eastern shore of Gulf St Vincent, in the far south of South Australia. The streets of Adelaide's central business district follow a grid pattern, which makes it very easy for visitors to find their way around. A one hour, 45 minute flight from Melbourne, it is a great base for visiting the wine areas of the Barossa Valley and also Kangaroo Island, a Ferry trip from Cape Jervis just South of Adelaide. See our 6 day self drive itinerary Melbourne to Adelaide. Australia Specials |
