Costs are based on two people travelling and staying in a twin/double room.
Day 1.
Arrive in Sydney and stay two nights. One of the most beautiful cities in the world, Sydney has a stunning harbour and beaches, exciting shopping and eating and a great nightlife scene.
Day 2.
Spend the day exploring Sydney - the Queen Victoria Building, Darling Harbour, the Opera House, The Rocks and some of the stunning harbour suburbs such as Potts Point, ritzy Double Bay and Watsons Bay.
Day 3.
Sydney to Katoomba (2 hours 130 km). After the buzz and excitement of Sydney, head to the Blue Mountains, named for their distinctive blue haze caused by oil evaporating from millions of gum trees, and home to over 1500 species of plants and plenty of birds and wildlife.
Day 4.
Fly from Sydney to Ayers Rock. Nature has an overwhelming power here - the skyscrapers are made of rock, not steel, and one of the best shows in town is the spectacular million-star night-time display. Its arid environment is home to a large population of unique animals, birds and reptiles. Wallabies, dingoes, emus, tiny geckos and huge eagles are just some of the long-established locals you’re likely to encounter.
Day 5.
Start the morning with a Camel to Sunrise tour and explore the area around Uluru today. Experience Ayers Rock-Uluru and the Kata Tjuta National Park - Take a cultural tour with an Aboriginal guide, or a campfire dinner, where you can savour barramundi, emu or kangaroo underneath an incomparable starlit sky. Uluru’s cousins, the Olgas, or Kata Tjuta, form another sacred site just 32 kilometres away: a collection of 36 steep, rounded, russet domes over around 3,500 hectares.
Day 6.
Join a day tour to Kings Canyon today. Learn about the history, geology, flora and fauna and take the opportunity to photograph the colours and formations of this stunning National Park.
Day 7.
Fly from Ayers Rock to Cairns and transfer to the small holiday town of Port Douglas nearby where your accommodation is located.
Day 8.
Take a day trip onto the Great Barrier Reef with snorkelling and diving among the spectacular coral formations a popular activity.
Day 9.
Join a day tour to the Daintree Forest National Park. Experience the unique and beautiful tropical fauna and wildlife of this 76000 hectare National park - the largest tract of tropical rainforest remaining in Australia. Guided wildlife cruises explore the Daintree River and you can get close to a saltwater crocodile here.
Day 10.
Transfer back to the airport and return onto your next destination.
